This is a major misconception  screen time doesn’t weaken eyes permanently, cause glasses power, or make LASIK reversal happen. Screens don’t damage vision structure.

Eyes get fatigued from constant focus (accommodative spasm), causing dryness, headaches, glare, and focusing difficulty  called Computer Vision Syndrome. All reversible!

Prevention steps:

  • Follow 20-20-20 rule: every 20 min, look 20 ft away for 20 sec

  • Blink frequently to prevent dryness

  • Use proper lighting, reduce glare

  • Artificial tears if needed

  • Take regular breaks – 1 day off resets fatigue completely

Screens cause temporary discomfort, not permanent harm. Your eyes adapt fine long-term
