Bleeding along with pus-like discharge from the surgical site indicates that this condition is not a hernia. These symptoms strongly suggest a mesh infection, which is a known but serious complication that can occur after hernia surgery when the mesh placed inside becomes infected.

Mesh infection is considered a serious condition and, in many cases, requires urgent or emergency surgical intervention to remove the infected mesh and control the infection before it spreads further. The patient had the surgery performed on November 10 last year, and although the earlier documentation mentioned hernia, the current clinical findings clearly point toward a mesh infection, which is different from a simple hernia.

Regarding the cost of ₹1,30,000, this amount is not covered under insurance in this case and was quoted because it includes complete medications, infection management, the surgical procedure, and all hospital and treatment expenses.

Since mesh infections can worsen rapidly, delaying treatment is not advisable, and the patient should be connected with the treating surgical team immediately for further management.
