Which type of mosquito actually carries malaria?

There are so many types of mosquitoes around us, especially during the rainy season. I often hear about dengue, malaria, and chikungunya, but it gets confusing which mosquito causes what. Can you explain which specific mosquito is responsible for malaria and how it is different from others?

Malaria is transmitted by the female Anopheles mosquito. This mosquito becomes infected when it bites a person who already has malaria. It then spreads the infection to others through subsequent bites.

Different mosquitoes spread different diseases for example, Aedes mosquitoes spread dengue, while Anopheles mosquitoes spread malaria.
