Taking hormonal pills in the middle of the menstrual cycle can sometimes disturb the body’s natural hormone balance and delay the next period. Stress, hormonal changes, emergency contraceptive pills, or other medicines can also affect the timing of periods temporarily. Some women may notice delayed periods, spotting, or changes in flow for a short time after taking such pills.

In most cases, the cycle becomes normal again within a few weeks. However, if the period is delayed for a long time, pregnancy is possible, or symptoms like severe pain, unusual bleeding, or repeated irregular cycles occur, it is important to consult a gynecologist for proper evaluation and guidance.
