Sleep becomes easier once the nasal passages open, though you may need to sleep with your head elevated for the first few nights. There are usually no strict restrictions on diet, but it is best to avoid very spicy or hot foods initially as they may cause irritation. Travel is usually fine after a couple of weeks once your doctor confirms healing is on track.
