Rhinoplasty Surgery for Nose Size Reduction : Results, Cost, EMI & Safety
2 months ago
I want to reduce the size and width of my nose as it looks a bit bulky to me. I am mainly looking for a sharper and more defined nose shape. I wanted to understand if rhinoplasty can give me a perfect result and how much improvement I can realistically expect. Also, I have slightly thick skin, so will that affect the final outcome? I’m a bit concerned about safety as well will it affect my breathing or involve any artificial material like plastic? Additionally, I wanted to know about the cost, EMI options, and how the overall procedure is done.

Rhinoplasty is a very effective procedure for improving the shape, size, and overall appearance of the nose. In your case, reducing the width and refining the tip can definitely be achieved, and you will notice a significant improvement in facial balance and sharpness. However, it’s important to understand that 100% “perfect” results are not realistic, especially when you have thicker skin, as it slightly limits how sharply the nose can be defined.
The procedure usually performed is open rhinoplasty, where the surgeon reshapes your natural bone and cartilage to achieve the desired look. No artificial plastic nose is inserted your own nasal structure is modified, so the results look natural. Also, since the internal breathing structures are not disturbed unnecessarily, breathing issues are very unlikely after surgery.
As for cost, it typically starts from around ₹80,000 onwards, depending on complexity. EMI options may be available, but eligibility depends on income or financial profile, so you can discuss that separately with the coordinator.
Overall, rhinoplasty is safe and commonly performed, with noticeable aesthetic improvement. The key is to have realistic expectations you will get a sharper and more refined nose, but not an artificially perfect one.
