Recurrence of a Bartholin cyst after marsupialization can happen, and it’s important to consult your gynecologist promptly since you are experiencing pain and difficulty with daily activities.
While the prescribed medications may help manage infection, a recurring cyst may require further evaluation and possibly an alternative surgical approach such as complete gland removal (Bartholin gland excision).
Please visit your doctor as soon as possible for a proper examination and treatment plan.
