So when i told my doctir that the nine months has comleted and he told me that i should stoped, but later on in the middle 2023, i started feeling some pains, body weaknes, chest pain as if the tb is actuve, i inform my doctor about how i am feeling and he said i will have to start using the medicine again, i ysed it again for over 12 months, thats till 2024. i stop as at the mid of 2024, i feel okay and better throughtout 2024 till 2025. On september 3 / 2025, it was an evening when i finish taking my dinner, suddenly i suddenly im breathlessness, like im short of breathing, my whole body weaks, i cough, i cant work on my own, i think im about to passed out. i inform doctor the following day and he told me i should be using the drugs.

Recurring symptoms like breathlessness, body weakness, and chest pain after repeated TB treatment cycles can indicate several conditions, including possible drug-resistant TB, post-TB lung damage, or another underlying respiratory or cardiac issue.

It is important to follow your doctor’s advice regarding restarting the prescribed medication, but also request thorough investigations such as a chest X-ray, sputum culture, and lung function tests to understand the root cause.

Do not miss doses this time, as incomplete treatment can lead to drug resistance. Please consult a specialist promptly for a comprehensive evaluation.
