Why Do Vaginal Infections Keep Returning After Treatment?
I have had 3 or 4 vaginal infections in the last year. Every time I complete the prescribed treatment, the symptoms will improve, but after a few months they seem to return. Why does this keep happening?

Recurrent vaginal infections can occur when an underlying factor continues to disrupt the normal vaginal environment. Common contributors include diabetes, hormonal changes, antibiotic use, excessive moisture, or persistent imbalance in vaginal bacteria.
Simply treating each infection may provide temporary relief, but identifying why the infections keep recurring is equally important. A more detailed evaluation often helps reduce future episodes and improve long-term vaginal health
