Why is high blood pressure becoming common in young adults?
I am in my late 20s, and recently during a routine check-up, my blood pressure came out higher than normal. This was quite shocking because I always thought BP issues happen mostly in older people. Now I am wondering what could be causing high blood pressure at a young age. Is this becoming common, and what are the main reasons behind it?

High blood pressure in young adults is becoming more common due to lifestyle factors. Common causes include stress, lack of physical activity, unhealthy diet (high in salt and processed foods), obesity, poor sleep, and excessive screen time. Smoking and alcohol consumption can also contribute.
In some cases, there may be genetic factors or underlying medical conditions. Early detection and lifestyle correction are very important to prevent complications later.
