Can stress or dehydration cause burning during urination symptoms?

I frequently get burning sensation while urinating but urine tests sometimes are coming normal. Can stress or dehydration also trigger urinary symptoms like this?

yes — stress and dehydration can sometimes contribute to urinary burning or irritation, but they are usually not the only cause.
When urine tests come normal repeatedly, we often think beyond infection and consider things like concentrated urine, bladder sensitivity, mild urethral irritation, or stress-related functional symptoms. Stress doesn’t directly “infect” the urine, but it can increase bladder sensitivity and make normal sensations feel more intense or uncomfortable.
That said, if burning is frequent or persistent, it’s still important not to dismiss it completely. Sometimes infections are low-grade or intermittent, or there can be mild inflammation that doesn’t show strongly in basic tests.
In my experience, the best approach is a combination of good hydration, avoiding bladder irritants (like excess caffeine/spicy food), and if symptoms continue, a more detailed urology evaluation to rule out underlying causes.
