Can monofocal lenses provide clear vision for daily tasks after cataract surgery?

I am 58 and planning cataract surgery soon. My doctor recommended monofocal lenses to avoid complications, but I am worried — will I be able to see clearly for work on the computer, reading, and driving at night, or will I need multiple pairs of glasses?

Monofocal lenses give excellent distance vision, so driving, walking, and outdoor activities are usually clear and comfortable. For reading and computer work, a simple pair of glasses is typically needed. Most patients feel reassured knowing that vision is predictable and reliable. With this combination, daily life becomes much easier, and most people regain independence and confidence quickly after surgery.
