Can surgery permanently fix enlarged chest in gynecomastia?
My chest has become quite enlarged, and sometimes it feels uncomfortable while walking, exercising, or even during normal activities. I also feel very conscious about how it looks and avoid situations like going shirtless. Is this gynecomastia, and can surgery permanently fix it?

What you’re describing, enlarged chest tissue causing physical discomfort and self-consciousness is consistent with gynecomastia, a condition involving excess breast tissue in males. Surgery (gynecomastia correction) is considered a permanent solution in most cases, as the removed glandular tissue does not typically regrow. However, maintaining a stable weight and hormone levels post-surgery is important to prevent recurrence. It’s best to consult a surgeon for a proper diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.
