What is the difference between IUI and IVF? I’m confused about which one is better and how both procedures actually work.

IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) is almost like natural trying. When your follicle is ready, your husband gives a semen sample, we wash it, select good motile sperms, and place them directly inside the uterus. After that, everything egg quality, whether the tube picks the egg, and whether fertilisation happens depends on your body, so the success rate stays around 10–15%.

IVF (In-vitro Fertilisation) is more advanced. You take injections to grow multiple eggs, we remove those eggs, prepare the semen sample, and let the egg and sperm fertilise outside the body in a lab dish. This bypasses the tubes completely and lets us see egg quality, fertilisation, and embryo development. Because all limiting factors are removed, IVF has a much higher success rate than IUI.
