Recurrent Pilonidal Sinus : Why It Happens ?
I have a pilonidal sinus that keeps recurring every 10–12 days with swelling, pus, and slight bleeding. Antibiotics help temporarily, but the problem returns after stopping them. I have also tried some home remedies, but the infection still comes back regularly. Why is this happening, and what is the best permanent solution?

Your symptoms suggest a recurrent pilonidal sinus, where hair and infection remain trapped under the skin. Antibiotics only control the infection temporarily but do not remove the root cause, which is why it keeps coming back.
For permanent treatment, surgery is usually required. Minimally invasive laser surgery is a preferred option as it offers faster recovery and less pain, while traditional surgery may be needed in complex cases.
After treatment, maintaining hygiene and considering laser hair removal can help reduce recurrence. It is best to consult a surgeon for proper evaluation and long-term relief.
