Based on your symptoms, it seems you may have developed barotrauma (pressure-related injury) in your ears due to the forceful nose blow. This can cause pain, ringing (tinnitus), and dizziness. Mild throat irritation is also common due to pressure changes connecting the nose and ears.

  1. Medications: Nasal sprays containing Budesonide (like Stereo Clear 100) may help reduce inflammation. Your doctor may prescribe ear drops or oral medications if needed.
  2. Steam Inhalation: Gentle steam inhalation can help relieve nasal congestion and pressure.
  3. Avoid Forceful Nose Blowing: Blow your nose gently to prevent worsening pressure.
  4. Monitor Symptoms: If dizziness worsens, hearing decreases, or pain intensifies, seek in-person ENT consultation.

Most cases improve over a few days with conservative measures. Since you are in New Zealand, ensure you can obtain the prescribed medications locally and consult an ENT specialist if symptoms persist.
