After the surgery she was completely normal. But for last 3 weeks she was experiencing headache especially in the morning may be till 9 O clock and it will reduced gradually after this time, During her headache she experience high light sensitivity and sensitive to some smells. and there is no other symptoms like nousea but very often she has dizziness. Dr prescribed the medicined for migraine but this morning pain still she has. After tgree weeks her pain reduced but for 2 days agai she has the pain the same type. I feel confused whether it is migraine or sinusitis? She never had any nasal congestion or any sinusitis symptoms other than severe headache.

After FESS surgery, it can sometimes be difficult to tell whether headaches are due to migraine or sinusitis. Migraine headaches are more commonly associated with light sensitivity, sensitivity to smells, dizziness, and throbbing pain, and they may occur even without any nasal symptoms. In contrast, sinusitis usually causes symptoms such as nasal congestion, nasal discharge, facial pressure, reduced sense of smell, or fever along with the headache.
If headaches continue despite successful sinus treatment and there are no significant nasal symptoms, migraine may be more likely. A follow up with both an ENT specialist and a neurologist can help identify the exact cause and ensure the most appropriate treatment.
Sinusitis headaches are usually association with nasal congestion and nasal discharge and typically present between eyebrows or below eyes or back of head
Migraine headaches are usually very severe and unilateral. It usually increases on exposing to bright lights and sounds. Headaches associated with dizziness can occur in condition called vestibular migraine.
