Some degree of swelling after circumcision is normal and expected, especially within the first few days post-surgery.

However, swelling that extends over the head of the penis can sometimes occur due to fluid accumulation or inflammation, and while it may resolve on its own, it’s important to monitor for signs of infection such as increasing redness, warmth, discharge, or fever.

Since your swelling pattern seems unusual compared to typical post-operative descriptions, it is advisable to contact your surgeon to have it evaluated and ensure proper healing.
