A donut shaped swelling below the head of the penis is a common finding after stapler circumcision and is usually part of the normal healing process. It typically improves gradually over the next few weeks.

Continue following your surgeon’s post operative instructions and keep the area clean. If the swelling worsens or is associated with severe pain, fever, foul smelling discharge, excessive bleeding, or difficulty passing urine, consult your surgeon promptly.

Almost always temporary and resolves within a week or two after the silicon ring has fallen. Sometimes additional medicines may be prescribed. Hope that helps!
