Why is donut-like swelling still present 28 days after ZSR with frenuloplasty?

it's 28th day post zsr with franuloplasty. donut like swelling still present and some time intense itching is there.. my surgeon prescribed me neosporin gel and I'm applying it 2times a day . worried about the swelling.

Some residual swelling after ZSR circumcision with frenuloplasty can persist for several weeks as part of the normal healing process, and a donut-like swelling at this stage is not uncommon. Itching can also be a sign of healing tissue.
Since your surgeon has already prescribed the appropriate medication, continue following their instructions and report the swelling and itching at your next follow-up so they can assess whether the healing is progressing as expected.
