What to expect after stapler circumcision ring and pin removal?
i underwent stapler circumcision 5 days ago after my ring was too tight and caused edema and swollen mid area also my shaft was paining a lot after 5 days of the surgery I consulted the doctoron my swelling and pain to which he told me that my rings and pins are too much pressed so he removed the ring and almost half of the stapler pins he the stitched it, was this advisable? 1.Will it take more time now for recovery? 2. Does this 2nd surgery I underwent guarantees that swelling will not happen? 3. If I keep my penis upwards the shaft will not pain? 4.The remaining pins will not come out and I have to Go through pin removal surgery again? 5.Will there be scar after stiches when recovered which is unlikely in Stapler circumcision? 6.what will be my recovery time to indulge in sexual activities after this ?

It is not uncommon for complications like tight rings, pin pressure, edema, or swelling to occur after stapler circumcision, and your doctor’s decision to remove the ring and pins followed by stitching was a medically appropriate intervention to prevent further tissue damage. Recovery may take slightly longer now due to the additional procedure, and some scarring is possible with stitches compared to standard stapler circumcision. Swelling should gradually reduce, and keeping the area elevated can help with discomfort. Please follow your doctor’s guidance closely regarding wound care, activity restrictions, and the timeline for resuming sexual activity, as individual healing varies.
1) incorrect size of stapler will always leads to this problem so always choose a size just above the measured size keeping in mind the expected swelling after the surgery. If we remove the pins even after 5 days the wound will recover well as the tissue approximation already happened.
2) swelling is always an unavoidable situation in circumscion for everyone as the tissue itself is a loose areolar tissue.
3) The pain will reduce only with the stapples release and with the medication to reduce the pain and swelling
4)complete removal of stapples may not be required where you got the pain mostly below the frenular site release will be sufficient.
5) No such bad scar formation can occur
6)4 to 6 weeks is the usual time to complete healing, so you better participate sexually after this period but don’t do forcefully sexual activity early wait for 8 to 10 weeks completion to do any forceful sexual activity
