Is bright red blood during stool a sign of piles?

For the last few weeks, bright red blood is coming while passing stool. There is also some itching and slight discomfort around the anal area. Could this be piles, and should it be checked?

These symptoms are commonly seen in patients with early stage piles, especially when bleeding occurs during bowel movements along with itching or discomfort. Constipation and straining are often the main reasons behind this problem.
While piles are a common cause, recurring bleeding should not be ignored. A simple examination can confirm the diagnosis and help prevent the condition from worsening over time.
Generally bright red blood during stool is suggestive of fissure…but Generally fissure is accompanied by pain most of the time…but for accurate diagnosis in person history and examination is a must.
