What is the difference between ointment and cream?

Ointment is 80% oil and 20% water, more sticky and is best used for dry skin. Creams contain equal amount of oil and water. Due to preservatives used in creams, ointments are less likely to cause an allergic reaction.

Can I use coconut oil or Vaseline for piles?

Yes, you can use coconut oil or petroleum jelly but consult a doctor as they may or may not be effective in severe piles cases.

Can I walk or exercise while using these medicines?
