What is Vaginal Discharge?
Vaginal discharge is very common among women. In most cases, it is not a problem. But most females do not know what vaginal discharge is normal and what is a cause of concern. Normal vaginal discharge is harmless, clear, may or may not be thick or thin, and had no odor.
Most females have about one tablespoon of vaginal discharge each day. There are different types of vaginal discharge. They vary in consistency, color and in some cases, odor as well. Look for changes in the color, amount, or smell of vaginal discharge. Such changes if accompanied by pain, irritation or discomfort, are something to worry about.
