What is the Ayushman Bharat Health Account - ABHA (Health ID)?

ABHA is a 14 digit unique number used to identify person, authenticating them, and threading their health records (only with their informed consent) across multiple systems and stakeholders. If any individual wants to participate in ABDM and have his or her health records digitally stored or saved, creating an ABHA ID is a must.
