The post-treatment guidelines are given to the candidate to speed up the process of healing. Under the guidelines, a patient is advised to not to lift heavy objects as it can put a strain on the site of surgery. It is advised to not take bath in the swimming pool or hot tub during the healing period. One can go back to normal activities including sexual intercourse activities after six weeks time.
