Meftal-Spas pill is a combination medication that contains Simethicone (an anti-foaming agent) and Dicyclomine (an antispasmodic). It is typically used to treat:
Period pain
Abdominal spasms
Bloating
Overall lower abdominal discomfort.
Meftal Spas is a drug combination of mefenamic acid and dicyclomine.
Mefenamic acid prevents the action of an enzyme that produces prostaglandins, that cause pain, swelling, and inflammation.
Dicyclomine helps with pain relief by activating the smooth muscles of the bile duct, uterus, and gut.
Take the Meftal Spas tablet as a whole with a glass of water or as and when directed by your doctor.
Avoid chewing, crushing or breaking it while ingestion.
It would be best to take it at a fixed time if consumed regularly.
Do not consume it more than prescribed limit to manage pain.
