Some of the ingredients present in the formulation if not processed well may increase the tendency of its side effects. The list below may not be comprehensive and it may be possible that these side effects may not occur always. Some of the side effects of Vridhivadhika vati are:

  1. Nausea, vomiting, dizziness and diarrhea may occur due to the presence of three emetic ingredients Tamra Bhasma, Kansya Bhasma, Nila Thotha Bhasma.
  2. It has also been found that symptoms like vertigo and anal fissures may predominate if the tamara bhasma an ingredient in Vridhivadhika vati is not well processed.
  3. Other side effects may include optic atrophy, high blood pressure, digestive problems like stomach upset. 

Effectiveness of Vridhivadhika Vati

Vridhivadhika vati is an ayurvedic formulation that balances the vitiated Vāta and Kapha dosha in an individual. Effectiveness of Vridhivadhika Vati has been proven in various diseases.

  11. Water retention
  12. Constipation
  13. Cracked skin
